Greg Friese
Greg Friese, Plover, Wisconsin, is the founder and president of Emergency Preparedness Systems LLC. He founded EPS to deliver innovative and efficient emergency preparedness solutions. Greg helps clients create, design, distribute and facilitate rapid e-learning for emergency responders. He also really enjoys collaborating with subject matter experts to create online education programs that are educational, engaging, and entertaining. Greg is a paramedic, EMS instructor, conference speaker, EMS author, and a Wilderness Medical Associates Lead Instructor. Greg has recently written for JEMS.com, EMSResponder.com and EMS Magazine, the NAEMSE Educator Newsletter, and EMSLive.com.
Martha Bonnie
Martha Bonnie is a writer and educator living in Pueblo, Colorado. Martha has worked in many settings as a classroom and outdoor educator. For EPS Martha develops, writes and edits continuing education lessons for emergency response personnel. In addition, Martha is involved in researching and writing for other EPS projects.
Michael Fraley
Michael Fraley is a paramedic currently living in Woodruff, Wisconsin. Michael began his career in EMS while at earning a Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A& M University. Michael has since worked as a flight paramedic, EMS Coordinator and EMS Manager and has been involved in EMS Education in a variety of ways for over 15 years. He is currently working as the coordinator for a regional trauma advisory council and owns and operates an assisted living facility. In his spare time Michael enjoys SCUBA diving and serves on the local Dive Rescue Team.
Keith Wesley, MD
Dr. Keith Wesley is a board certified emergency medicine physician living in Eau Claire Wisconsin. He is the medical director for HealthEast Medical Transport in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Wesley is the former Wisconsin State EMS Medical Director and currently serves as the Minnesota State Medical Director and the Chair of the National Council of State Medical Directors. He has published several textbooks and numerous articles and has a column on Jems.com. Dr. Wesley continues to provide medical oversight for several services across Wisconsin and provides consulting and educational offerings on request (email Dr. Wesley).
Kyle Bates
Kyle Bates, Buffalo, New York, is a flight paramedic, educator, photographer, and graphic artist. See his graphic design portfolio at www.kyledavidbates.com. He has worked throughout the northeast as a paramedic/educator. He has also been a medical photographer/artist at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Georgetown University. If not in the air, designing curricula, teaching in the classroom or at conferences, or producing images for EPS, Kyle can be found ‘between the pipes’ playing hockey.
Joe Redding
Joe Redding is a flight nurse in Wisconsin. His previous experience includes medical/surgical intensive care and emergency department. He holds board certification in the specialties of critical care, emergency, and flight nursing. He is a long time educator and routinely teaches ACLS, BLS, and PALS courses as an American Heart Association Training Center faculty member. Joe focuses on writing on-line education lessons on complex body systems and critical care interventions.
Kevin Collopy
Kevin Collopy is a flight paramedic in central Wisconsin. He previously worked in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and upstate New York as a paramedic and field training officer. Kevin is a lead instructor for Wilderness Medical Associates. When he can find the time Kevin leads canoeing and kayaking trips throughout North America. For EPS, Kevin writes and reviews CE lessons.
Keith Owsley
Keith Owsley,MS,LAT,EMT-P is the President/CEO of MedEvent, Inc. MedEvent, based in Racine, Wisconsin, coordinates and provides medical staffing for special events and sporting events throughout the country. Keith brings over 15 years experience as a professional firefighter/paramedic, as well as 20 years of experience as a certified athletic trainer to providing professional medical staffing for sporting events.
Rocco Altobelli
Rocco Altobelli is a flight paramedic in northwest Montana. He has been a firefighter, a SAR/helicopter rescue team leader and a professional ski patroller. Rocco has owned a rafting company, created avalanche risk assessments for ski areas in the San Juan and Cascade Mountains, and trained an avalanche rescue dog. Rocco is owner of the Alpine Institute and a Wilderness Medical Associates lead instructor. For EPS, Rocco reviews EPS online education content for in the field relevancy and accuracy.
Ann Dunphy
Ann Dunphy, Eagle River, WI, is an EMT-Intermediate, Wisconsin technical college EMS instructor and Wilderness Medical Associates lead instructor. Ann is an EMS dynamo. She teaches year round, in the waist deep snow of northern Wisconsin to the coast of Washington to the mountains of Maine. Ann showcases her EMT talents at the hockey rink, in the emergency department and the ambulance. For EPS, Ann teaches wilderness medical courses.
Kristin Bonnie
Kristin Bonnie is an assistant professor of psychology at Beloit College, in Wisconsin. Kristin earned her PhD, with a concentration in Neuroscience and Animal Behavior, from Emory University. She currently teaches Introduction to Psychology, Physiological Psychology, Research Methods, and Animal Cognition. When not in the classroom, or writing online education lessons for EPS, Kristin conducts research on cognition and learning in monkeys and apes. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and traveling.
John A. Chamberlain, Jr.
Jack Chamberlain is an educator, woodsmen, and computer media expert. Jack is the voice of internet based CE lessons produced by EPS. Jack is “grateful for the medical professionals who carry out what I only have to say.”
