Social Media Tools to Initiate Mass Gatherings
Social media tools – Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc. – are used to initiate and manage mass gatherings. At PIOSocialMediaTraining.com I have written a post about Lance Armstrong’s Tweetup Ride in Dublin, Ireland. Find out how many cyclists responded to his Twitter message to go for a bike ride in a few hours at a park in Dublin. Also I consider the implications on emergency responders of a spontaneous mass gathering initiated through social medial tools.
