Tutorial: Creating a Transparent Layer in Photoshop

A custom PowerPoint design template is essential for branding elearning or making it stand out from other training programs. Adding your organization’s logo and color scheme to the PowerPoint master slide or design template is a common technique to customize an elearning program.

Simply pasting your organization’s logo on the PowerPoint design template may create an awkward looking square that “sits on-top” of the slide. An alternative technique is to make the area around the logo transparent. In an easy to follow tutorial John Dillon shares with EPS411.com how to create a transparent image in Photoshop to use as part of a PowerPoint design template.
