Live Online EMS Training Preparation
On July 15 EPS411.com is partnering with the EMS Professional to deliver our first Live Online EMS Training session. EMS Boot Camp is going to be a regularly scheduled training program that will laser in on a specific training issue for students or currently practicing EMTs and Paramedics.
Last week the presenters, Greg Friese and Jim Hoffman, used the GoToMeeting interface to prepare and practice their first EMS Boot Camp Session. During a Live (synchronous) Online EMS Training program they will use some of these features:
- Multiple program presenters
- Access to any student with an internet connection
- Access to audio for attendees by phone or through computer sound card
- Screen sharing – Jim will initiate the presentation, but by using screen sharing attendees will see information on Greg’s screen
- Private and group chat – attendees will be able to ask questions privately to the presenters or post questions and comments for all attendees to view and answer
- Session recording – the GoToMeeting interface will capture the audio and video generated by the program. Attendees will be able to access the recording later or those unable to attend can still register for the program and watch the video archive
How could you use a Live Online EMS Training program for your service, organization, or school? Use the comments area or contact EPS to discuss your specific idea or needs?
EPS411.com president, Greg Friese, and Jim Hoffman, the EMS Professional, will share knowledge, tips, and resources during each EMS Boot Camp session. The first session focus is EMS exams and exam taking. They will also answer attendee questions asked during the session. The session will be recorded and available for repeat viewing by attendees.
