Pandemic Flu: Just in Time Training
The CDC has been issuing information and distributing resources about a new type of swine influenza A (H1N1). Cases have been confirmed in California, Texas, and Mexico in the last week. The extent to which this new viral influenza will spread and the severity of symptoms is unknown at this time. Careful monitoring and vigilant infection control procedures are needed.
Given the uncertainty about this novel virus and the likely development of pandemics in the future this is a good time for EMTs and Paramedics to receive just in time training on pandemic influenza. EPS has created a two part EMT continuing education program on Pandemic Influenza that is available to users of RapidCE.com and CentreLearn.com.
If you are an individual that would like to take the course visit RapidCE.com to register for the individual lesson or to purchase an annual subscription.
If you would like to enroll all the personnel in your organization in the pandemic influenza and other training programs in the learning management system visit CentreLearn.com for organization user plans.
