Little time is spent on discussing and studying death and its effect on the EMS provider, the patient, the patient’s family, and others intimately concerned with a particular death. This RapidCE lesson explores topics associated with death including, Do Not Resuscitate orders, when not to transport or treat, and the psychological effects of death on the survivors including healthcare providers.
