Stress in the Workplace

All workers are susceptible to stress, but emergency medical workers work in an environment filled with stress factors. Stress is stress the harmful physical and emotional responses that occur when the requirements of the job do not match the capabilities, resources, or needs of the worker. This RapidCE lesson explores causes, effects and techniques to reduce stress on the job.
