Patient Assessment: Part 1
The most important skill for any healthcare provider is patient assessment. It is the one skill performed on every patient. Emergency responders use patient assessment findings to initiate treatments, determine the need for additional resources, and prioritize the patient for transport. Part one of this RapidCE lesson covers the scene size-up and initial assessment. Part two covers the focused history - physical exam and ongoing assessment.
