Many patients encountered by EMS providers use complementary and alternative medical treatments and medicines – often times in tandem with conventional treatments and prescription medications. The US Food and Drug Administration recently posted a list of 125 Fake Cancer Cures. Unfortunately many consumers invest heavily in fake cures and alternative treatments that are not evidence based.

EPS published a CE lesson on Complementary and Alternative Medicine for registered RapidCE.com and CentreLearn users. The lesson is approved for 1.0 hours of CECBEMS approved CE credit.
